If you haven’t had the chance, do pop into the Chanel Beauty Beautique pop-up in Covent Garden before it closes at the end of December. Aside from the chance to be surrounded by all manner of Chanel beauty and exclusive fragrance goodies, it’s also a great way to get a free manicure. Yes really. How often do you get to use the f-word with Chanel?
The UK’s first Chanel nail bar has opened in the pop-up shop in Covent Garden. It’s in the roped off area downstairs and they don’t really publicize this but if you book a manicure (£25), the price is redeemable against purchases in the store. If you’ve got any last minute Christmas shopping to do, it would be rude not to treat yourself.
I love blues so resisted the lure of my usual Rouge Noir and went for Blue Satin, a deep navy verging with subtle shimmer. If you like the colour but not the price tag, ELF Dark Navy which costs a bargaintastic £1.50 (compared to £18 for the Chanel) and OPI Russian Navy are great dupes.
Chanel Pop-up Beauty Boutique, Covent Garden Piazza (next to Ladurée and opposite the Apple store). They don’t do walk-in appointments, so to book call 020 7240 2001 or email: covent.garden@chanel.co.uk
UPDATE: Chanel have now made this beautique permanent and manicures now cost £30 – still redeemable on products on the day.
Totally jealous!! I have no idea of Chanel does any type of pop-up stateside, but you bet I’m going to google it RIGHT NOW. Thanks for the tip & for sharing!
