Who doesn’t love a bit of customisation? I’ve just spotted this great gift idea from Intensae, a new 5-free (free from formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, parabens and formaldehyde resin) nail lacquer company. On orders until 12 December, the name of your nail polish can be changed to whatever you choose and the bottle will be gift wrapped and labelled free of charge.

I haven’t tried the range myself but it looks like a quality product. The co-founders are Christian Roman, a still-life photographer and James Samuel, hair colourist to the stars, who strike me as people who would know colour and attention to detail.
