There are few things to delight in Lewisham but one has been the discovery of the fruit and veg stalls in Lewisham market. The abundance and quality of the produce you can buy is exceptional and all at cheaper than chips prices. In many cases you are probably paying 10% of the price you would pay in a supermarket. There are loads of stalls selling big bowls of colourful fresh good stuff for £1, though none have a catchy tune like £1 Fish Man.   If you shop at the end of the day especially on a Saturday, prices get reduced to 50p! A great way to up your 5-a-day and save money at the same time.
