Organic September: LoveLula Beauty Box

Beauty boxes are all the rage but ones with natural and organic products are harder to find here in the UK.  In the USA they seem to be spoilt for choice.  I’ve subscribed to a few but they end up being rather pricey when you factor in the shipping and taxes which often costs more than the box!

I’ve recently discovered the LoveLula beauty box from the green beauty online store of the same name. Transparency alert – I was sent it as I’m now part of the LoveLula Accredited Blogger Programme. I’ve been a long time customer and will now have the opportunity to also occasionally sample products of my choice. LoveLula will not be sponsoring any posts or having any input in any reviews I choose to write. I’m picky about any collaborations and as their product policy chimes perfectly with mine I’m pleased to be on board.

“Our product policy is quite simple: we actively seek out the most luxurious, effective, pure, natural, organic beauty products that the world has to offer.

But being natural and organic is not in itself a guarantee of our approval. We test every product for efficacy, quality and results. We love products which have been scientifically developed, which offer the most advanced and up-to-date formulations and which deliver outstanding results. If they also look, smell and feel beautiful then we are smitten!”

The September Love Lula Beauty Box contains a mixture of full size, deluxe sample and sachets:

  • Rose Floral Water Hydrosol, Balm Balm (30ml deluxe sample) – delicate rose scented floral water that it’s always good to have in your stash for spritzing and toning.
  • London Hydra Plump Serum, FOM (10ml deluxe sample) – a Hyaluronic Acid based serum to plump and hydrate the skin with Vitamin A and C to help protect and niacinamide to support collagen production and inhibit hyperpigmentation. Sounds perfect for post summer skin repair.
  • AHA Brightening Peel Mask, Madara (12.5ml deluxe sample) – a brightening mask with a deep cleansing action that is meant to stimulate cell turnover, unclog pores and brighten skin. It seems best suited for acne prone skin so I’ll gently test this.
  • Oils of Heaven Baobab Oil, OOH! (30ml full size) – I’m a big fan of the superfruit baobab, I regularly eat and drink it and the oil is included in some of my favourite skincare.  I haven’t actually used the oil on its own so this is the product I’m most excited about using. Priced at £19.50, this one product alone makes the beauty box a sweet deal.

Subscribers also get a 20% discount code if ordering any of the brands in the box. If you’re new to green beauty or just want to discover some new brands this is a purse friendly place to start.

Love Lula beauty box, £12.50 a month,
