Time for a quick look at the latest LoveLula beauty box from the green beauty online store of the same name. l’ve found this to be the best value natural and organic box I’ve come across at £12.50 including post and packaging. Each month there’s a mixture of full size and travel size products from skincare companies mainly. There is occasionally a makeup item but it’s quite rare.
APRIL 2017 LOVELULA BEAUTY BOX*

The April Love Lula Beauty Box contains the following:
- Madara AHA Brightening Peel Mask (60ml full size) – a brightening mask using fruit acids and Vitamin C, promising instant radiance. During winter my skin is particularly sensitive and I rarely exfoliate, which means when spring comes I’m ready to slough! I’ll be using this to peel and deal with some post inflammatory hyperpigmentation that I’m battling.
- Greenfrog Geranium and Peppermint Botanic Handwash (100ml travel size) – this handwash includes organic soapberries, grown sustainably in the pristine foothills of the Himalayan mountains. Soapberries are from a rather marvellous plant which lathers naturally and has been used for cleaning clothes and bodies naturally for an eternity in the regions where it grows. I wash my hands a lot so hand wash that won’t strip and irritate is always handy.
- FOM London Hydra Plump & Firm Cream (15ml travel size) – I’ve previously mentioned FOM London in my 2017 Green Beauty Predictions as this brand has a big focus on tackling pollution and environmental stresses on skin. This cream contains nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, avocado and marula oil combined with various antioxidant rich and collagen boosting botanicals. It is designed to protect and hydrate and also promises some skin lifting action.
- Apple & Bears Pomegranate and Aloe Vera Body Wash (50ml travel size) – another handy size for travel. This is a new to me brand. The name is inspired by natural qualities that the founders find inspiring. Apples for their healthy skin and bears for their ability to live a natural rhythm without impacting their environment. The logo is a tribute to people diagnosed with breast cancer with the mermaid and koi representing a celebration of life, hope, courage, perseverance and new beginnings. A percentage of profits goes towards charity.
The box also had a Marlenha eye cream sachet but I don’t count sachets as a valid item in a beauty box so that’s just a little bonus as you can still get 20% off all the brands in the box using the discount code included.
I like that the boxes tend to contain practical products that you’ll use. Over the months they’ve incuded cleanser, toner, mask, oils, shampoo, hand cream etc. You can see past boxes on their website. If you are looking for a cost-effective and savvy way to switch all your skincare staples to green beauty, without spending a fortune, the LoveLula beauty box is a great place to start.
