Crabtree & Evelyn is a brand I associate with hand and body products not colour products. If I hadn’t won some wonderful goodies from http://www.brownbeautytalk.com I probably wouldn’t have found this fantastic nail polish.

Sky is an aptly named sky blue creme polish that is just right in texture (Goldilocks style not too thick or too thin), which applies evenly to give a smooth finish and opaque coverage in two coats (one thick coat did the job too but doesn’t last as long). There’s no getting around that nail polish is full of chemicals. Pretty colours don’t just stick to your nail bed by magic. The Crabtree & Evelyn nail lacquers are “4-free” formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene which are considered the main toxins in nail polish.

My nails stayed pristine for four days with barely noticeable tip wear on my right hand on day five. After a week it began chipping. Below is how they looked on day eight (please ignore the chipped forefinger and focus on my fabulous nail to ceiling coordination):

Each time I looked at my nails, it made me smile, especially on miserable grey days. Is nail therapy a thing? If not it should be. This colour just makes me happy.
