ESPA Refining Skin Polish replaced with Aesop Tea Tree Leaf Facial Exfoliant

After my last empties post. I thought it might be a good idea to also share what products I’ve replaced the empties with, mostly by shopping my stash. Is “fullies” a thing? if it isn’t I’ve just invented it. Without further ado here are my fullies which I’ll be reviewing in due course:

Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm and Rodial Glamtox Cleanser replaced with Sprout cream
Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm and Rodial Glamtox Cleanser replaced with Sprout Cream

I’ve got a stack of Sprout (now called SW Basics) products that I’m working my way through. Their products are comprised of minimal ingredients with no fillers which I think  my skin enjoys. This is a cream really but it’s balm-like texture means it works as a cleanser and due to the expiry date I want to use it up.

Another one from my stash. I’m rediscovering Bliss, a range I used to love and buy whenever I was in USA, before having my head turned by other brands.

ESPA Refining Skin Polish replaced with Aesop Tea Tree Leaf Facial Exfoliant

I generally love Aesop skincare for its “clean” ingredients, lack of grandiose claims and of course the apothecary packaging.

Nivea lip butter replaced with Sprout lip balm

Another Sprout (SW Basics) product.

Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum replaced with The Body Shop Vitamin C capsules
Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum replaced with The Body Shop Vitamin C capsules

These Body Shop Vitamin C capsules are from my recent haul. I’ve never used a Vitamin C product before so we’ll see what it does.

Pai Royal Jasmine & May Chang Replenishing Body Oil replaced with Balance Me Super Moisturising Oil
Pai Royal Jasmine & May Chang Replenishing Body Oil replaced with Balance Me Super Moisturising Body Oil

Balance Me  is an award-winning affordable “natural” brand that I’ve heard a lot about.  The words “super moisturising” got me. Used any of the products above?

Those Vitamin C capsules look tempting! I am slightly obsessed with Coup d’Eclat ampoules at the moment, but can’t afford them, so maybe Body Shop is the way for me to go. Will be watching with interest! x

[…] oil based so obviously avoid if this is an issue for you.  I am not fanatical about this although I am currently exploring non-mineral oil based alternatives.  If I don’t find any as effective I will certainly re-repurchase a Nivea Lip Butter […]

Nice idea to show new replacements to empties. I loved the Rodial Glamtox balm but not sure if I can justify the price

QVC had a brill offer on the balm less than half price. Def can’t justify the full price either!

Thanks! QVC had a great deal recently under half price – I can’t justify the price either but good to grab when there’s a deal!
