I love stationery and I love patterny prints so it was lust at first sight when I spotted these cards and notebooks by London-based design company Esme Winter. The team seem very particular about creating a quality product and work with British craftsmen using recycled and responsibly sourced materials.

They say this about themselves:

“Together with Richard Sanderson, Esme Winter produces items that reflect the innate worth of the hand-binding, weaving and finishing practiced by their trusted, generations-old makers. It is with these craftspeople that they share an understanding that final touches are very often invisible yet add the most value. Individually, both designers have inherited a strong appreciation for antiquarian books and mid-century modernism – the aesthetics of which can be seen and felt in the classic nature of the objects that they create.”

The colours and gentle geometry are very pleasing to this paperphiliac. I’ve just spotted that ASOS have massive savings on some of the notebooks (click on image to go straight to page and grab them while they last).
