I’ve mentioned before that I’m a cleansaholic. Aside from oils, cleansers are my favourite skincare thing to buy. I absolutely love the ritual of cleansing my face! I’ve ticked a few off my last cleanser wish list so thought it was time for a new one.
I’ve got balm and oil cleansers in my stash so resisted adding any of those to my lust list. Having a browse on LoveLula, I discovered a few intriguing cleansers unlike any others I’ve used before. See below for what I’m currently lusting after:
CLEANSER LUST LIST
PureChimp natural super cleanser, 80g, £11.95
The texture of the Pure Chimp Super Cleanser is unlike any other I’ve seen so I’m intrigued. The ingredients include almond flour, olive oil, banana extract, dried marigold and sea buckthorn oil so it sounds very nourishing. To use you break off a chunk and mix with water.
I normally think that wipes are the work of Skincare Satan but sometimes needs must. When I met Rose-Marie Swift, founder of rmsbeauty last year she mentioned the Ultimate Makeup Remover wipes were coming and I trust she knows her stuff! These wipes are made using just top quality coconut oil that’t it! So they should remove makeup without irritating my sensitive skin and be very handy for travel.
Mel Millis Phytonutri Qi Plankton Skin Remedy, 100g, £38
I’ve been obsessed with finding a powder cleanser but so far haven’t found one that quite works for me. The Mel Millis Phytonutri Qi cleanser is a blend of hyaluronic acid, nutmeg, spirulina, green tea, cocoa and lava clay infused with vanilla and rose petals so I expect it smells mouthwatering and will feel quite active on the skin.
Yllume Ultimate Illuminating Complex Cleanser, 50ml, £38
The Yllume Ultimate Illuminating Complex cleanser has one of the most unusual ingredients lists I’ve seen. Designed to brighten skin, the hero ingredients include colourless carotenoids derived from non-gmo white tomatoes which impact melanin production, Hematite stone extract which helps stimulate collagen synthesis, and hydrolyzed prune extract which helps inhibit melanin in epidermal cells.
Have you tried any of the cleansers above? Any on your lust list?
the rms wipes are good for occasional use (I find them a little bit greasy) x
Yes I’m thinking holiday rather than everyday as I can see the coconut oil being a tad too much on own x
